Send for review

Course → Send for review uploads the open course to Mauvely Review and hands you a share link. Reviewers open the link in a browser, read the course as a learner would, and comment on the exact block — no Mauvely account needed on their side. Review is included in the Pro plan and up, and needs you signed in.

Sending

Save the course, then choose Course → Send for review. The dialog offers a confidentiality notice (on by default) and an optional password for the link. Review hosts a readable copy of the course — that is what lets someone without an account open it.

The link is shown once, when it is made. Copy it there; only a fingerprint of it is stored, so it cannot be read back later. Creating a new link revokes the old one.

Sending again

Once a course has been sent, Send for review offers Send again, which starts the next round: reviewers keep the same link and see the new version, and earlier comments stay, marked with their round. Sending again is also where a due date can be set. The workspace at review.mauvely.com can compare rounds block by block.

Compose remembers which review a course file belongs to on this machine. On another machine, the dialog starts a new review with its own link.

Reading the comments

Course → Review comments opens a panel with every thread: who said what, on which block, with the course’s tags. Reply, agree, resolve or reopen from the panel; clicking a thread selects its block in the editor. New comments also reach the notification bell in the Review workspace, and by email if that switch is on in the workspace’s share dialog.

Reviewer names are whatever the reviewer typed on their first comment. They are not verified accounts.
