The plans
Free
2 GBCurrent version only
Pro
200 GB10 versions per file
Max
1 TB30 versions per file
The maximum file size is 5 GB on every plan, including Free — where it is larger than the whole
allowance. The two limits are independent: one is a per-upload ceiling, the other is your total.
Workspaces have their own allowance
A workspace is charged for its own files, whoever uploads them — so putting a 2 GB video into one comes out of the workspace’s allowance rather than yours. Otherwise a member’s personal quota would rise and fall with the team’s activity, which nobody could plan around. The allowance comes from the plan of whoever created the workspace, and it does not come out of their personal storage either. A Pro subscriber with three workspaces has 200 GB of their own plus 1 TB in each of the three.A standalone Compose or Snap subscription buys a desktop app licence, not Cloud storage.
As far as Cloud is concerned those accounts are on Free: 2 GB, current version only, no
workspaces.
What counts towards your quota
- Every file you have uploaded
- Every version being kept
- Everything sitting in the trash
Reaching your limit
An upload that would exceed your allowance is refused before anything is transferred, rather than failing part-way through. To free space:- Empty the trash. Deleted files count until you do.
- Delete old versions of large files you re-upload often.
- Delete files you no longer need.
Changing plan
Plans are managed on your account at mauvely.com; the new allowance is applied to Cloud. Your files, keys and shares are untouched. What is not offered
- Team or workspace plans. Shared team workspaces are designed but not built. Sharing today is per file or folder, with named people or by link.
- Per-app storage tiers. One allowance covers everything in your vault.
